Swonet is a foundation which has created the biggest portal and database of Swiss women networks and organizations, the Swonet-Portal www.swonet.ch. The aim of Swonet is to enable synergies between the many existing groups and to present the whole landscape of female networks and organizations in one combined channel and big picture. The 65 networks, which joined Swonet, are presented in six different categories:

  • Business organisations
  • National and regional umbrella organisations
  • Charitable organisations
  • Networks
  • Political organisations
  • General organizations

The flagship event is the yearly SWONET Business&Network Day. In addition, regular regional get-togethers, the Swonet Chill Outs, take place in Zurich, Bern, Aarau, Lucerne and soon also in St. Gallen. They are open to all interested women. Swonet also runs the open Xing group swonet (swiss women network) where you get informed about upcoming Swonet Chill Outs as well as other interesting events.
